Essencia do Vinho Porto

The 16th edition of Essencia do Vinho Porto wine and olive oil tasting event offers more than 3000 wines and 350 producers from all over Portugal, an international jury and a thematic programme of exclusive tastings. The event is recognized as Portugal’s leading wine experience. Organised by EV – Essencia do Vinho in collaboration with the Oporto Trade Association, the tasting event is held in the city’s Palacio da Bolsa.

Fladgate

One of the largest port wine houses is Taylor, Fladgate & Yeatman, which was founded in 1692 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal. This family-owned business is one of the oldest wine companies in the world.

At Essencia do Vinho Porto

The name Alheira comes from the Portuguese word Alho, which means “garlic.” Originally made from game and poultry, the sausage evolved to become a unique delicacy. Its production is regulated under strict regulations.
